Vessels: Each pottery vessel is handcrafted & one of kind. The inspiration of my pottery comes from the many wonders of nature. There's a fascination & mystery of creating a vessel from the basic elements of clay, water & fire. My goal is to create pottery that conveys simplistic beauty, a feeling of balance between delicate & sturdy, decorative & functional. I use techniques of wheel throwing & hand building. The clay is stoneware in colors of browns, white & cream. All glazes are made at our studio. The glazes are lead free & non-toxic. All the pottery is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe (preheat with oven). I hope you enjoy each piece with its unique aesthetics, feel, and function.
Classes: Our studio is unique in that if offers you the ability to have your very own private studio experience! Our unique classes range from Couple's Pottery, Personal Pottery, Pottery Parties, & Homeschool Field Trips. Our classes are for those who are wanting to make their own pottery, try something new, to get out and have fun, to increase your skill & knowledge of pottery, or to celebrate any occasion. Classes are for beginner to experienced, ages 3 & up.
Our season for classes is April-October.
The Studio: The studio is nestled between lake, forest & field...Gods beauty surrounds us! We transformed a part of our garage into a quaint & private pottery studio and gallery. If you are in the area and would like to stop by, make an appointment by calling or using the Contact page.
